Day one of a two day workshop (second day is Thursday). This is one step short of a complete beginner's class.
- LED theory and basics
- Arduino setup
- monocolor LEDs
- RGB LED with digital outs (8 color mode)
- RGB LED with PWM color mixing
- Getting input from pots/buttons to select colors/modes
- Digressions into fancy driver chips, charlieplexing, and the next class as time permits
We'll have some LEDs, resistors, and a few Arduino compatibles for lending/buying. Better still if you have your own already. Bring a laptop!
Cost: FREE for paid members, $10 for this class for the general public.
If this is too basic, stay tuned for Part 2 description -- it happens on the 11th.
