Come on over. If the weather is nice, I'll have the BBQ out, if not, we'll do this inside.

I'll be sharing what I have learned at the Make Seattle tutorial on SketchUp, and what I've learned on my own. I'll put it up on the big TV in the living room. Bring a laptop if you wish to work along with me.

I'll also demonstrate Cura, the program I use to turn STLs into G-Code and drive my Ultimaker. Cura works with most plastic deposition 3D printers and it was a -lot- easier to install than ReplicatorG. Maybe we'll get something printing on my Ultimaker.

We learned alot in our class. The time for individual attention worked well. The big screen was perfect. I'm avoiding all cats.

Look forward to meeting folks and learning about SketchUp. Any organization of the food or should I just bring whatever?

No real organization to the food. The weather is suppose to be wet, so no BBQ.

Big Lots has USB mice for $5, and cordless mice starting at $12 each.

Oh, and if you want to follow along with the tutorial, you must bring a scroll-wheel mouse. You'll be frustrated using only a trackpad.

4th Dimension Computers on Lacey Blvd has used USB scroll-wheel mice for $4 to $5 each. And Big Lots has USB mice for $10 and up, and cordless mice for $15 to $20 each.
