We talked about this a little, but FabLab Tacoma (http://www.fablabtacoma.com) is running an Arduino 101 class on Dec 5 that includes an Uno3 Starter Kit for $60. They are having an open house on Dec 1 and have classes for other things like their laser cutter.

Make sure to bring a laptop that has Sketchup 8 installed. Try to have some object ready to export by class time. I will be going over how to take an object in sketchup and export it to the file format needed by the next step in the printing chain. I will have more information up as we get closer to class.

This will be part of a larger series of classes on 3d printing in the space. This class will be mostly lecture/follow along with your own laptop.
