I have been building things since I can remember. I have been able to finish many of the projects that I have started and there are also a lot I have not finished; but I always love learning about new materials and processes.
Railbike (see photo) design, construction developing tours for the general public as well as the visually impaired; musical instrument construction, machine tools, travel, my dogs (Costa Rican Street Terriers), building tools, learning about new materials and processes, new to cnc, carbon fiber, developed papercrete formulas that shrink minimally and can be used to build structures that are dimensionally stable and more.
Building harmonographs, devices that use pendulums to make really interesting designs on paper. Recently finished a drilling jig for making paper marbling combs which will be converted to cnc. Presently building a pendulum powered air compressor which will also be used to power other devices such as pumps, lights, coffee grinders, etc. I am making paper marbling combs including some new designs that work in three axis rather than just two and - thinking up more projects.
I actually have several including: build an operational cnc milling setup capable of aluminum work; a papercrete workshop; a railbike operation in Tillamook Oregon (I've had operations here in the US as well as several years in Costa Rica). See my website at: www.railbike.com
