Randall Preserve Tree Planting with Capitol Land Trust

  • November 17, 2012 · 10:00 AM

Volunteer with Capitol Land Trust & REI as we kick off a new season of Stewardship at the beautiful Randall Preserve on Eld Inlet. Help put the finishing touches on this 10-year restoration project. We'll plant trees and pull invasive plants. Local naturalists will also be on hand to enrich your experience with expert knowledge of Puget Sound biota. Snacks, coffee, tea, gloves, tools, and water provided. Please dress for cold and wet weather with sturdy, closed-toed shoes. Bring tools and gloves if you have them. This is an all-ages event, feel free to bring the kids!

REI is only allowing 60 to sign up, so register and print out a liability waiver here: https://www.rei.com/event/45463/session/59185.

Depending on the weather, I will likely bike to this event if anybody wants to join!

Hi all-you should've received an email from REI with more info (if you signed up with them). Parking is across Mud Bay Rd. from Blue Heron Bakery - the event is behind Blue Heron (on the S. side of the building). See you then!
