Kickoff meeting

Get coffee, meet each other, and discuss what brought us to atheism. We could share reading suggestions, and maybe plan a group viewing of a documentary (Jesus Camp? Religulous?) for the future.

Darn! Wish I'd known about this group sooner. My wife and I used to live in Tacoma. Now that we're in Lacey, we made it to a few of the Tacoma Atheist meetups at the Panera Bread Company.

Damn! Wish I could have made the kickoff meeting. Are there any plans for upcoming meetings. I am semi new to Olympia and would love to meet some new faces.

Well, I'm that far behind in my mail, huh? Oh, well. Hope you all had a good time and plan to get together again.

Hi guys, I really want to be a part of a meet up. I am a former evangelist and try to be active in the atheist community. I just returned from a month long project working with a growing atheist group in the Philippines. I am there contact here in WA.

my problem is I work nights 2:30-11:pm, but I get Fridays and Saturdays off. so if you have more metups and they are around those times you can count me in. I really wish I was there for the kick off.

I feel a bit sheepish...I suggested the meetup and then wasn't there. For some reason I assumed that it wasn't going to happen and then didn't double check. The Tacoma Atheists are doing a meetup at Panera Bread in Lacey on the 20th...anyone interested in going to that?

Tacoma Atheists are listed as having their meet up in Tacoma on the 17th. What group are you speaking of, cause I would love to try to make it to a local group and not travel to Tacoma.

yes, I had to leave early to pick up my son but it was not bad. I do have a suggestion thou. Next time we meet can it not be at a noisy coffee bar? I'm hard of hearing and I didn't feel I could hear everything that was going on all that well. And Heather, I would like to go to the Tacoma meetup thing.

It was ok, I arrived late and I'm sorry about that. Had some good discussion and I hope we can all go bowling sometime or do something fun.

Great meeting! Wish more people came, but met some nice folks. Next time we're going to need a bigger space, maybe a bit quieter too. Who's up for getting some cold ones?

I'll be there, but I might be a little late. Perhaps we can figure out some leadership roles?

Actually, I just discovered that the Tacoma atheists meet in Olympia twice a month. Maybe this is redundant?
