Let's Go to the Movies "12 Years a Slave"

Every winter I organize a group that attends movies together.  We try to regroup after the showing for coffee or meal depending on what the group wants.  I chose the downtown "arthouse" theater for its ease of gathering and walking distance to several eating establishements.  However if the group want to chose another showing at a multiplex please feel free to suggest something.  The movies I am leading will be on either a Wednesday or Thursday evening.

Skipping ahead a bit, circle March 2 for the 86th Academy Awards (moved because of the Olympics)

Admission is $8.50 for non member and $5.50 for OFS Member as in the past I have a limited number of passes for $5 for those that find themselves on limited budget.

You are allowed to bring your own snacks if standard movie popcorn and candy doesn't interest you.  In addition sometime this large theater is not as warm as one prefers so dress warmly or bring a blanket. Lastly with your 6:30 admission you are allowed to stay and see the 9:00 pm movie

Initial Movie Schedule:

Thursday    Feb 13 "12 Years a Slave"

Thursday  Feb. 20  "Captain Phillips"

Wednesday  Feb. 26  "Inside Llewyn Davis"

Please only respond if you are attending.   Please update your response if unable to attend.  This will help me as an organizer tremendously.

Sorry I pushed the great to see you in error. It was an intense movie. I know how it is sometimes after working all day. I kinda remember anyway (recently retired)!

Great to see the movies with other folks and discuss after. Glad I didn't see this one by myself!
