Let's Go to the Movies "Rust and Bone"

Every winter I try to brighten a few of those cold dark evenings by sharing a movie together.  After a few weeks we culminate with a house party, Sunday February 24th to watch the Academy Awards together.  I choose the downtown theater because it is easy to find each other.  Remember to dress warm and you can bring your own snack/treats if you have a preference over traditional theater concessions.  I hope to include "Les Miserables" before the Academy Awards.  Tickets are $5.50 for OFS members and $8.50 general admission.

I am in the planning stages to have an all day "Anna Karenina" festival on Saturday February 2.  We would meet in a home and have a potluck and watch the classic 1935 Greta Garbo production and then at 6:30 go to the Capitol theater and see the latest version.  Please let me know if that is something that interests you.

Three final items: I will be out in front of the theater until 6:25 please arrive in time to meet up with the group.  I have a few $5 passes for those with limited resources.  Send me an email at [masked] to request a pass.  Lastly, would you be interested in regrouping after the movie at either my house or a coffee shop?  You will be asked that question upon reservation.

Tuesday January 15  "Cloud Atlas"

Tuesday January 22 "Hitchcock"

Tuesday January 29 "All Together"

Tuesday February 5 "The Sessions"

Tuesday February 12 "Rust and Bone"

This will be posted with three other groups.  http://www.olympiafilmsociety.org/

Hi Steve, Is there any way I can know whether I can get a $5 pass? I probably can't go otherwise. Thanks!

I understand that you don't have a "maybe" category for the r.s.v.p., but I do have a potential scheduling conflict, so this is really a maybe! I do hope to make it.
