Summer is a fantastic time to be alive...and running:)
Sometimes you just need to jump into something with both feet and the rewards from it stay with you forever!
Even if that means running in the heat.
Last week was a bit toasty, but everyone had a great time with the workout and we even made some new friends.
THIS week I have learned my lesson and there WILL be watermelon for after!
This weeks workout will be 5 X 1000 with 400 meters recovery.
We're increasing the number of repeats by one and decreasing the distance of each repeats by 200 meters.
Ying and Yang. Balance in everything.
We'll also be warming up and DRILLS!
With any luck we'll have all the football players and youth track camp along with their parents watching. :)
