Thought I'd start a list of local places to get prepper supplies. First one is just outside of Yelm http://www.survivalce... They are a fairly popular internet sight. They sell everything related to emergency preparedness including underground shelters. They don't sell stuff like sleeping bags or propane but they do have an emergency birthing kit, or a manual clothes washing bucket. The place is kind of off the beatin path at a farm looking place. They have everything on display in their store with a lot of stuff warehoused.

I've been to the Survival Center and I like it. Its remote, from the outside you would think your at the wrong address, but they have a good selection inside. Their buckets of grain are cheaper than other places, but they don't use mylar bags and oxygen absorbers in the pails, but I still bought some.

I shopped online at Emergency Essentials, and stopped by a little prepper store in Gig Harbor yesterday.

Sorry I wasn't able to make it to the Saturday event. I spent the day with some friends. Here's a wood working store south of Seattle. They sell all kinds of wood working stuff from old to new methods and give classes. I picked up a cross cutting saw today. They sell brand new two man cross cut saws as well. For me a one man makes more sense cause you don't know what the situation will be.

Larry's brewing supply in Kent. They have everything to brew wine, beer, cheese. Everything from yeast, bottles, cappers and more. Everything related to brewing. They also have bulk grain and stuff. Let's not forget brewing is another way of preserving and also a way of bartering.

Good to see you Ray. Here's some places that sell long term food storage. These are ran by the LDS which are a hardcore prepper group of sorts. I'm NOT a LDS member but I do use their services. You have to call them a couple weeks in advance and you actually have to somewhat work to get your food. It's really easy to do. They don't try to convert you. They have very good pricing. They even sell bulk. Most of their stuff lasts 25 years. If you're buying 1000 of pounds of food they don't even blink an eye, they're preppers.

Can't forget about security. This is a bit of a drive but worth it. I use to live up there. It's by far the largest gun store in Washington. Right now they're advertising a gatling gun for sale 49,000 dollars.

while we're on hunting and security. This place is in Lakewood. I use them just for ammo. their prices are fair and they sell REAL NATO rounds. I don't know what they got right now cause I haven't bought ammo in years. They also sell ammo cans and bandoleers.
