Come join us for a vegan BBQ and potluck! We have a grill, and I'll make a big potato salad. We will also supply watermelon and tofu for grilling. Feel free to bring veggies for skewers, vegan burgers/hot dogs, and any side dishes or desserts. We are heading to Tumwater to watch fireworks around 9:30 if anyone wants to join us! As always, this is an alcohol-free event.

The house next door to ours is currently vacant so there are 2 parking spots in that driveway you can use. It's the house just past ours.

Might as well bring the tofu pups if you have them. I will eat them. :) I don't want to be bringing the only entree. By the way, I think I will leave before fireworks. Just FYI.

Yes, will bring. If not grilling can do on stove top. Have pickles etc!

Yeah I didn't buy a new grill. Monica isn't on meet up, but she's bringing black bean burgers. We also have field roast burgers. We can do then stove top

I am bringing baked artichoke dip. can you recommend a gluten free bread or cracker to put it on. Normally I would use French Baguette. So don't bring tofu pups with fixins?

I like vans gluten free crackers (everything, fire roasted veggie) but we also have corn chips and potato chips we can use to dip.

We can bring quinoa salad and something else. Any particular needs for the something else? (I don't really know how to make any desserts though)

OK, less work for me! But now I need to think of something else to contribute haha... though I was planning on bringing some Tofurkey dogs anyway.

Marsha, you don't already have a Brita, do you? I can pick one up on the way if not.

Marsha, Mary's Gone Crackers are really good. Here is a recipe if you want to make from home:http://mywholefoodlife.com/2013/05/14/copycat-marys-gone-crackers/

    Available at most stores too.

My other suggestion would be gluten free flat bread. Here is a recipe:http://southamericanfood.about.com/od/snacksstreetfood/r/Faina.htm

I'll probably skip the BBQ stuff because it sounds like we have plenty of great food! I'm just making potato salad and chocolate chip cookies. I'll also get watermelon. See you all tomorrow!

I'm gonna make blackened tempeh and potato tacos and apple pie.

I was thinking about making some sort of tempeh tacos, maybe ethnic fusion. Ideas are welcome!

Can't wait! Bring a jacket- it gets chilly up there. Also I have sleeping bags and blankets, so no worries.
