Several of us enjoy Music in the Park on Wednesday evenings. The next one is July 24th. This week's band is Bevy. From soft vocals and tender harmonies to hard driving dance tunes, Bevy likes to mix it up - bossa, swing, Afro-Cuban jazz, tango, blues, folk, choro, etc.

It's nice to get there early (5:30ish), set out chairs/blankets and then hang across the street at the Urban Onion for an hour or so beforehand from about 5:30-7 for Happy Hour.
Urban Onion Happy Hour til 7: Beers start at $2/domestic. Be ready for most folks to make a mass exodus to the Park at 7 sharp!
Music in the Park 7-8: We are usually already set up right in front of the stage right next to the sidewalk where folks dance. It's in a beautiful setting, is free and the music is great. Sometimes there is even dancing!
Open Mic at Pig Bar: Afterwards, we can always head over to the Pig Bar (at South Bay BBQ just down the street at 619 Legion Way SE) for Open Music Mic Night hosted by Scott Lesman where beers start at $1.50 ... and the local musical talent is really great!
5:30ish-7 Urban Onion
7-8 pm Music in the Park (Sylvester Park downtown)
8:30ish South Bay BBQ Pig Bar - Note! Music starts after 9 pm
Don't be shy, show up and join us at any time of the evening!
