We shall gather at C.I. Shenanigans and socialize on their back deck as we await for our boat. It is during this time we plan to check names off the manifest, so that when the boat arrives, we get on and sail away :) At least that is the plan. We shall board The Spirit of 76, between[masked], for a 3 hour cruise around Commencement Bay and the surrounding area. Sunsets at 2110. This will be identical to our Christmas cruise. Potluck and bring the beverage of choice, and we will have a sound system for dancing. The Spirit of 76 is a retired ferry boat, so no carpeting or plush seating are available. Please make appropriate choices on foot wear. That said, the dock at Shenanigans has a third of the slope then that of the Rock of the Doc. e.g. this dock is heels friendly.
The deal we brokered is as follows: BYOB and potluck event so your scrumptious dishes and deserts are on the menu. Finger foods are convenient dishes for a boat in motion. Like most Meetups that I host that call for a potluck, I will not assign a particular category of food per the first letter of your name. If everyone brings chips and dips, that is what's for dinner. I will leave it up to you to decide if you are bringing appetizers, main course or deserts.
Cost: $29, per person. Payment required at time of RSVP. No Refunds, see Pay Pal for details.
Parking: there is plenty of parking in the lots in front of Shenanigans and The Ram. There is over flow parking across the street...all up and down Ruston Way on that side (south) of the street.
Boat Details: The boat has two levels. The main level is fully enclosed, the second level is three quarters enclosed and has the stern (the non-pointy end) of the boat is open. We have access to a bar (not stocked), but it has a frig and a small microwave; coolers will be stocked with ice to keep your items chilled or for drinks. Tables will be setup for your food and for seating. Tables will be on the main deck and the top deck. There is plenty of opportunity for us to mingle and move around the boat.
