We have kids, but the youngest are in the 11-12 range. These don't always show up. 5-6 is a bit young for the club. Some schools have chess groups, though I'm not sure there are any before middle school. You might check with your school district what schools have clubs. If you haven't already done so, Google 'teaching chess to young'. There are books and online teaching aids. Here is a good site:

Let me know if you have any questions. [masked]

I have 2 little boys ages 5 and 6 that are really getting into chess. As for me (mother) not so much. Inever could understand the game. So I was just looking for somewhere they could go and play with other people besides each other. Do you have any other kids that come and play? I would love to bring them.
