Paypal's Agile Journey, Mock Objects, & Tech Open Spaces

  • Jan 10, 2013 · 5:30 PM

We couldn't pass up on this great opportunity to share with Paypal, learn about Paypal's Agile journey, and engage in an open spaces exchange of ideas at the tech execution level. Paypal's Duane Teeters sets the stage for this exciting event: For those new to our story, we will present on our recent agile journey and follow up with how we are using Mock Objects to improve our automated unit tests. The benefits to developers and quality assurance in understanding this concept includes “true” unit tests that isolate only the code under test, faster performance of test suites, and greater test coverage and code quality. We will also have interactive breakout sessions after the presentation for those who want to share and learn more about agility. As we host in a secure building, we are limited to 40 guests on a first-come, first-serve basis. So hurry and RSVP! Don't miss out on this great opportunity to share Agile in our community.

IMPORTANT DIRECTIONS: This GoogleMaps location is to PayPal’s main building, near the pond. Our meeting is in Building 2, which is on the other side (East) of Port Grace Blvd. Special visitor parking is marked in front of Building 2, however if those spots are taken, the entire lot is open to visitors and you may park anywhere within our lots.
