Crushed Out

Omaha Performing Arts Presents
Crushed Out
Friday, March 8, 2013 • 8:00 PM
Holland Center • Scott Recital Hall

Tickets start at $25

One of Magnet magazine’s “Best Of 2010,”Crushed Out is Frank Hoier on guitar and vocals and Moselle Spiller on drums. Formed in 2009, their sound is a reflection of their ecstatic love for early American rock ‘n’ roll, surf guitar, early country music and Delta blues. Crushed Out’s amplified “Honky Tonk Surf Rock” honors the past while standing firmly in present. Village Voice said listening to the band’s music was like taking “a guided tour of primal pre-60s American rock ‘n’ roll. Lots of yummy gristle but no unnecessary excess.”

Katie and Diana... Sorry, I won't be able to make it tonight. :(

But... that means you only have to save one table. Looks like it will be a great show! :)

This is in the 1200 Club where there are tables of 4. Open seating, first come, first served. We can sit together and have two tables if need be. Looks like you'll be #5. It's a very nice venue.

A chick on drums and a guy playing guitar. That is it. What more could you ask for?

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
