Hi everyone!

We will be resuming our Meetups at Kaneko. We are super excited and Kaneko has been incredibly gracious with us. Going forward, we will be meeting the second Monday of each month. From 6pm - 7:30pm.

This Meetup's TED TALK videos will be on Urban Planning.

I wanted to thank Kathy and the TEDx group for such a great discussion at last night's meeting. Much of the themes and topics discussed align with the Heartland 2050 regional visioning project being conducted by the Metropolitan Area Planning Agency (MAPA). I would encourage everyone to check out our website at h2050.org. We have some some great research to share including a values study of the entire 8-county region and a Regional Transit Vision outlining steps being taken by Metro to improve our transit system(see Heartland Connections). MAPA is also working on a Regional Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan which held a public meeting Jan 22nd at the Kroc Center. To stay informed and learn about ways you can get involved, sign-up for our newsletter at h2050.org. -Clint Sloss, Project Coordinator

Hi all! Once again, I can't make it, but tonight I dropped off a small group of visitors from Brazil who are interested in participating. I am sure you will make them feel very welcome!

where is the invite button? is this announced on FB somewhere and I'm missing it? I'd like to digitally invite and therefor boost new members, but I'm not seeing an easy means to get that done. Thanks in advance.

I agree that would be nice. Feel free to post the URL for the event page. Hopefully, it will post properly without the viewer needing to be a member.

Always been interested in urban planning both globally and locally. Excited to hear some new ideas, especially on common sustainability problems.
