We are no longer able to park directly next to the trailhead. SO PLEASE PARK ALONG FOOTHILL (at Trudy Way). There is sign next to a paved footpath that reads 'Skyline Hiking Trail' and we will meet there and walk 0.5 miles to the trailhead.
~Do not leave valuables in your parked car.~
Skyline Drive is a popular fire trail in the Cleveland National Forest. We will hike for about 2 hours and complete around 5 miles with breaks to take in the view. This uphill hike is a nice conditioning hike to prepare us for more strenuous events. We will meet at the trailhead and begin our hike promptly at 6:00 p.m. The trailhead is where Burrero Way meets Skyline Drive.
RSVP: Only if you are planning to attend!
What will we do as the evenings get darker?
Oh, right! Of course!
I must admit, I've lost control of this group! ;)
These people who hike/walk with me, who are they?
I'm simply going with the flow.
I have absolutely no idea what this is about!
This group may be a little crazy, but it's fun!
Have I not been paying attention? I don't see other groups behaving this way!
Do I just keep showing up and see what happens next?
What I want to know is who started all this?
This trail is visited by many Corona residents. There is only one way up and one way down.Throughout the trail there will be views of the city directly below and other mountains in the distance.
Bring plenty of water and wear either hiking shoes or tennis shoes.
