Introduction to Meditation Class

Please join us for a class focusing on the basics of Buddhist teachings and meditation practice. This class is oriented to persons who are newer to meditation, but is suitable for persons at all levels. No fee is required. Any donations are applied toward the cost of the facility.

    I want to know if I can take my two kids, 14 and 11 years old?

      Hello Luzangela, Yes, your children are welcome. There will be a couple of periods of silent meditation, usually 15-20 minutes each. If your children don't want to sit during those times, they might bring toys or a Gameboy (or whatever the current version of Gameboy is!). They can sit in another room which is close by and open to the sitting room so that they are not too far away from you. Our only request is that they play quietly and not run around inside, so as not to disturb anyone's meditation since silence is an important part of the meditation practice.
