My focus is on Meditation & Dialogue on 'healing wisdom for greater happiness' - via Tolle, Thich Nhat Hanh etc. My interests include personal development learning, photography & film, the arts generally, spirituality & holistic education.
Realizing that there is a Oneness behind the competing belief systems is vital for peace in the world. If you feel that way, or are wondering, come and see what the 'One Garden' groups have for you - the craic is great and there's lots of laughter!
We started a One Garden group in Brighton and its success encouraged us to start two more!
The members make it great!
The Circle of Reason will also reimburse your Meetup.com organizer's fee if you'd like to try starting up a Seaford Circle of Reason. The main parent .org, The Circle of Reason, can be investigated at Wikipedia, or at www.circleofreason.org. Clear vistas! -- Frank Burton, SBS and FMCOR meetup co-organizer
Hi Roger, welcome to Secular Bible Study; hope you can join one of our meetups when visiting relatives back here in the "colonies." Meanwhile, you might want to check out the other meetup group I organize, First Minneapolis Circle of Reason, and consider whether you'd like to start a local Seaford Circle of Reason meetup group. Such groups' purpose is the very "interfaith" -- as well as interbelief/intercultural -- reasoning dialogue SBS does, but on all types of topics, not just the Bible.
Hi Roger, thanks for note. I would definately be interested in an evening Tolle themed meeting. Day meetings are a bit difficult for me at the mo.
Look forward to seeing you both tomorrow!!
Get it! Cheers :)
thanks for the message about keeping me informed about future groups. I would appreciate this. I really liked that get together and sharing of ideas at the meeting in the Blind Tiger Club, so I will attend again any other meetings I can make. I'm not always free on a Saturday morning, though, because I like to go to 'Soulful Singing' at the Dome, whenever I can
Hi again John. I'm a bit confused at the moment. I got an email reminding me of the "masters of wisdom" meeting on Tuesday the 15th and at the top it says 11am and then in the actual mail it says 10am. What time is the right time?
And is it still at Cafe Coho?
