Hey volunteers! This is actually an opportunity to help raise money for One Brick... Yay! And you get a two-fer... You also get to attend the event for free! You'll have time to hang out and taste the bevy of beers and ciders as well as hear live music and enjoy yummy eats from the many food vendors... A total win-win! What a fabulous way to kick off December!
There are two shifts for this event. If you RSVP here, you'll be volunteering forSHIFT ONE - from 11:00 - 2:15. You can stay after your shift and enjoy the Festival. You can also volunteer for the entire day, if you'd like.
You'll get free food, beer, AND a t-shirt! You'll be wearing the t-shirt at the event and you get to take it home afterwards!
Learn more about all the special brews you'll be serving (and tasting) here: http://www.HolidayBeerFestLA.com
What we'll be doing
With this shift you'll be helping with set-up and then monitoring the gate where attendees will be coming in.
After your shift is over you'll have plenty of time to enjoy the festival free of charge - Cheers to that!
What you should know
From Jeff Moses:
We're honored that you are participating in the BevMo! Holiday Beer Fest
on Saturday, December 1st. We appreciate your contribution to
the event and look forward to day of fun, camaraderie & good cheer.
Naturally, as with any event where alcohol is served openly, responsible
behavior by all those involved will be the key to a trouble-free environment
and a successful festival.
We urge each of you to keep in mind that we are representing MBF (Monterey Brewing Festival) Company, BevMo!, the Holiday Beer Fest staff, Golden Road Brewery and Los Angeles so please remember - responsible pouring.
*We will have a private security company on hand so you won't be asked to act as security.
*We will have food for you at the event.
Parking is available at Golden Road Brewery in an adjacent parking lot.
*Attendees will be wrist banded at the door & screened for age verification. If in doubt while serving, ask for proof of ID. If an attendee does not have a wrist band, please don't serve them.
*Attendees can go In & Out of the event if they have an additional hand stamp.
*No wrist band means they snuck into the event and have not been age verified. Please don't serve them.
*We are giving the attendees & guests an event cup/glass. Breweries
and Brands can sell or give away t-shirts (or anything else with their
brand name on it), but please - no beer glasses.
If you are pouring beer and an attendee asks you to fill a glass
other than the festival cup/glass, please say, No.
Attendees sometimes sneak in larger glassware but they can not use them.
BY VOLUNTEERING AT THIS EVENT YOU WILL BE HELPING TO RAISE FUNDS FOR ONE BRICK! THE MONEY GOES TOWARDS VARIOUS ONE BRICK EXPENSES... WE THANK YOU IN ADVANCE, ONE BRICKERS! :) And we Thank Jeff Moses for the opportunity to raise the money!
