TurnOn Philadelphia

We believe TurnON is the ignition that leads to more of what we really want in life. It is the first step to knowing what's possible. And, it comes when we get real about the powerful stuff of relationships, Orgasm, intimacy, desire, etc.

So, we started an evening event designed specifically to give people the opportunity to feel TurnON in themselves. It's an evening where, through only talking, we begin to experience these exhilarating, energizing, often ignored feelings -- referred to as TurnON. A room of people (cool, fun people) engage in honest, humorous, playful conversation around topics we mostly only consider having in our head.

Through 3 guided, round-robin style games, express yourself and gain new (and maybe surprising) insight into yourself and others. Fear, longing, taboo, love... Be with others who are willing to express it openly and be seen for who they really are. It's like a giant exhale when the rest of the world is asking you to hold it in.

For a taste of the evening's games, check out this clip from a recent episode on the Chopra Network:

TurnON leads to authenticity AND authenticity leads to the kind of connection we hope for around the globe. Come feel it for yourself!

I'm angry. I was encouraged to join my local OM community multiple friends and coaches. I finally signed up, was excited to come and this morning an email came that left me feeling so violated i didn't know how to react.

    Hi Shantala

I am looking for a casual but ongoing relationship. I am 54, I live in Bucks County, professional. I am married, but bored, lonely, looking for a connection. I grew up in PA and recently or within the last year and a half moved back from Boston. I like to travel, like to see and do unique and interesting things, in a way miss Boston, but trying to get adjusted living in the sticks. I like to read, try to go to the gym a couple times a week, good for stress. I am nervous but excited about possibly meeting you, the anticipation and mystery of meeting someone new. Like opening a xmas present, in a way. would love to meet you. mark

Now, all of that said, our dude above, who we've never met, says he is married. People have all sorts of agreements in their relationships, and it's all good with us, they're adults and that's their business. AND. As a community, we don't allow people to be trained in OM if they are keeping it from their significant others. Not because we're judging them, but because we're certain that they won't get what they are seeking that way. Orgasm arises in connection, and connection is compromised in secrecy. So you can trust that if you learn to OM, and your OM partners are in relationship, their partners have been informed. And if you come to TurnOn, people will perhaps state their desires. A desire is different than a request.

Thanks Kati. Your posts have been pivotal for me. My solution to Shantala of forgiveness was a step up from anger but missed the bull's eye. There was nothing to forgive. Marie

Hy, haven't we had this conversation a bunch of times before? Like, over the past two years? And we've still never met in person? We've been through this: you're most welcome. Really.

Women at an erotic literature Meetup are emailed to go to a motel after the meeting by total strangers. I am glad you did not experience an invitation like that. OM teaches men sensitivity and connection. You will meet very fine men at OneTaste. It does not meet the needs of reptilian predator types. Maybe make Mark feel welcome at OneTaste? He could be ready to grow. Reconciliation and forgiveness would be great healers for both of you. Write me if you want and be sure to come to our meetings. This Meetup is one of the best things you can do for yourself. Marie

I'm not trying to compare what is tame and not tame. I was encouraged to join a new type of group, I was excited about feeling safe and checking out my first meeting with an open mind. To get an email the morning of the event made me feel cheap...I was actually looking for reassurance that these kind of people are vetted and not allowed to come. I'm looking forward to Thursdays event and I do not need Healing with Mark...I wish to meet people with open minds and conscious awareness. It's not my job to help a married man who's looking for hot sex because he's lonely, to heal. that's his baggage. thanks for reaching out and we'll meet soon.

Hi Shantala, Your "hit" is pretty tame. I got "hit" at another MeetUp concerning erotic literature. Some women there were asked to go to a motel afterwards never having met the writer.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
