Welcome to the Ontario Aces Poker League.

We are a group of recreational poker players consisting of men and women of varying ages who want to play a competitive fun poker game. New players are always welcome as the more players the more money and prizes. We are looking for easy going people who take the game serious and will respect the rules and integrity of the game while having a good time and can accept that bad beats happen from time to time.

Ontario Aces Poker League was started in 2012 by Alex MacNab, games are held at his place in Waterdown. There are 3 tables that can be used to allow a maximum of 30 players, 10 per table. These games are all self-dealt with rotating deals and will abide by “Roberts Rules of Poker.” Any circumstances not resolved through these rules will be ruled by the Tournament director, and will be done in the fairest interest of the game and will be final.

We will occasionally run satellites to larger tournaments such as the Brantford deepstacks, Great Blue Heron events, wsop and wpt canadian events and so on. Tournaments requiring travel will set aside a portion of the prize pool to cover the players entry, travel and spending cash. Any satellite games will be considered equity games where the winner of the satellite will represent the Ontario Aces Poker League and will agree to split any and all winnings 85/15 where the 15% will be split evenly between the players who participated in the satellite. And all moneys will be considered part of the equity after taxes have been deducted if an American tournament.

If you are looking to have some fun, are serious about the game, looking to improve, want to make new friends than we want you to join us for fun nights of poker.

See you all at the tables,

Alex MacNab

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
