The best discussions I’ve had with like-minded people that are into self-reliance, survival and prepping have always been within a large circle of people in a quiet environment. The end of the ARK 2 visit is a great example. I thought I’d try something a little different this time so that everyone can get some insight from other members.

Our weekly meet-up is in a public gathering with music. It’s not ideal to hear what people are saying across the table. That’s why I’ve reserved the back room of the London Pub for this event. If it goes well we may make this a regular event. Unlike the weekly get-together I’d like to have a focus for this meet-up with respect to the discussion. They'll also be held a little earlier in the day. On this event we’ll be touching on the following:
How do you stay in the loop with what’s going on in the world? We’ll share resources that help us stay on top of current events so that we can see and anticipate disasters before mainstream society does.
Where is your preparing focus at? Some people tend to prepare for everything but that doesn’t mean they don’t feel an unlikely event is more likely to happen compared to other doomsday scenarios.
What are your first steps in the event of event X? A lot of people haven’t considered some very specific things that should be done immediately in the event of an event. We’ll walk through step-by-step things you should do for specific scenarios.
Sharing this knowledge in an open discussion/atmosphere like this can only enhance or broaden your perspective in these areas. You may find yourself with a different focus or opinion moving forward. I know I likely will and I’m looking forward to everyone’s insight.
Famed by King Arthur and as the title implies, the round table has no ‘head’, implying that everyone who sits there has equal status.
