LAST MINUTE UPDATE:
I was away from my desk most of the day and missed out on the change in the weather forecast. So Saturday seems rained out, but Sunday looks promising. So sorry for the last minute switch up. Let me know if you can still make it. Thanks!
We will meet between the restrooms and the stables at Bellevue's main parking area. Please try to remember to bring a dollar for dues, since, as I mentioned in my New Years Letter, we have to raise just a little bit of scratch before spring.
See you there!
Trying to stay active can be tough when the weather won't cooperate, but for the heartiest of hearties, there's always throwing caution to the wind and hiking anyway (the wind will, of course, throw caution right back at you).
Love the Greenways in this kind of weather. All the comforts of a sidewalk in the beauty of the woods. We'll start at Bellevue and head toward the Rockwood Museum and back... possibly a little further depending on interest.
I still want to go cross-country skiing this season, but it looks like it's turning to a mix of rain and ice as the week progresses and I'd rather not keep getting people's hopes up for a ski outing and then cancelling. Be prepared for me to call that shot mid-week at some point as it may come to that.
