Project Night with the Boston Python User Group

Every month the Boston Python User Group hosts a project night. As in the past, we'll be grabbing an "open government" table where we'll be working on python-based transparency projects like OpenStates and OpenCities - and enjoying the pizza, drinks, and good company that BPUG always provides.

If you plan on going, you MUST rsvp over at the Boston Python site. RSVPing here is useful for me, but the official meetup is where you need to sign up. Project Nights quite often run out of room, so sign up soon if you want to come. You can do so here:

It was great to see those of you who made it last night! For those of you that didn't end up coming - we worked on our Open Cities project, starting with Somerville, MA. You can see our progress here (https://github.com/opencities/opencities-ma/). We're hoping to get some documentation up sooner rather than later, so it's easier to contribute remotely, but in the meantime if you want to help you can hop on IRC (http://webchat.freenode.net/) and go to the channel #sunlightlabs to chat with people who can help you get started on it.

Meetup has allowed me to meet people I wouldn't have met naturally - they're totally different than me.
