Open Hack Night Columbia! - Development Testing Roundtable

Development Testing Roundtable

Testing is critical to improving and maintaining the quality of our applications, yet there's no one "best way" to do it, even within a single application stack.  Join us as four of your fellow developers discuss their best practices, tools, and methodologies for testing in development.

Welcome to Open Hack Night in Columbia!  Open Hack is an event open to current and aspiring developers.  We have a meeting every two months, providing developers a chance to mix-and-match three options:

Presentations: We have two presenters talk about two different languages.  The presentations are 30-40 minutes each with up to fifteen minutes for questions.

Unconference: Not interested in the topics for tonight's event?  Come share what you're passionate about?  We'll have 6 unconference slots of ten minutes each.  Come drop some knowledge on your fellow devs!

OpenHack: Want time and space to work on something or pair program with someone new?  That's cool, grab a spot and a friend and spend some time working together on a project.

After the presentations, bring your favorite board game, Magic deck, or hold a LAN party and hang out with your fellow developers.  We'll keep the doors open!

Open Hack Columbia is a collaboration of CETi, Voterheads, and IT-oLogy.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
