Our weekly year-end series of Restorative Yoga is now expanded to two hours, by request of the current yoginis. This on-going series meets Tuesday mornings as of January - instead of Wednesdays.
With my YeSSS Method you are guided through a series of seated warm ups, a standing set of Chinese Yoga (qigong) along with some hatha balances. During the floor work, using special props, each participant receives prescriptive suggestions on how to feel better using this system - taking home some simple, easy to use techniques for first-aid if bothered by pain, stiffness or fatigue. A variety of breathing exercises are introduced and reviewed as an intregral part of the system.
Each session concludes with a unique guided savasana -- 'sponge' pose -- accompanied by my signature 'serenade' providing support for deep relaxation and assimilation of all that came beforehand. The lullabys, poems set to music and chants shared are selected intuitively to match the energics in the present moment.

Dress in layers, bring a beach towel, a blanket, a wash cloth. Mats and other props can be borrowed from us.
