Emergency Volunteers Needed This Weekend

Hey everyone,
I just wanted to let you all know that, with all the cold weather, the shelters in Little Rock are packed and churches are opening up overflow spaces so they don't have to turn anyone away when it is getting down to below freezing. The shelters could really use some help all weekend. IF you could come out for a night, or a few hours, or help by donating some food, or anything else you can think of please contact Jeff Spry at [address removed] or Libby DeLay at [address removed].

The Nathaniel Hill Complex 2500 East 6th Street will open tonight, 1/6, at 4P.M. and will be a 24 hr. site through Monday, 1/11 at noon. Transportation of homeless to the site can be arranged by calling 374-2881. Cots, blankets, showers, and food will be available to homeless. They need food and volunteers desperately.

Thanks everyone,
Kyle Acosta
