This event is just one part of the second annual Canadian OpenStreetMap Developers' Weekend. The weekend will be full of events for everyone in the OpenStreetMap community. In addition to these introductory presentations for those new to OpenStreetMap with ample opportunity for Questions (and possibly, for Answers). There will also be:
Social events for ad-hoc discussions, sharing of experiences and general geo-fun.
And the main event. The two-days of OSM software development. These are the core of the event and are cast from the same OSM Hack Weekend alloy that has lead to important advances in the OpenStreetMap infrastructure and tools. If you have wanted to know how to become a developer - contributor to OpenStreetMap, this is your best opportunity to learn from and share with the experts.
