Hi everybody,

I've added two files to our space on Meetup. You'll find links below.

First the "Cake"
You'll find a map of two neighbourhoods in the Bayview Village area that have been divided into areas. The areas are "slices of cake" for us to choose to map. This way we can avoid unintentional duplication of effort. We have "slices" that are suitable for walking as well as "slices" for cyclists and for drivers. We will complete assignments for the first map (the area bounded by Bayview, Sheppard, Leslie and Finch first, before we assign slices from the second cake. Some experienced mappers choose to "take a slice" and start mapping before the start of the mapping party and will only join us for the later rendezvous. That is fine but be sure to advise me of your chosen slice!

Secondly, you'll find a file that outlines our goals for this mapping party. It has an overview map and some tips for some common mapping tasks like stores, parks, sports fields and street addresses.

I'm looking forward to seeing you all, and the great weather, on Sunday.

New mappers are welcome. This will be a great first-mapping-party for you to attend. Lot's of helpful experienced mappers are already expected to help answer your questions. Don't forget to RSVP today.

Best regards,

Hi I'm a more or less experienced mapper. Have only added some Point of interest and small walkways in the german part of the map. So it would be nice to team up with an more experienced mapper.
See you there on Sunday
