Learn Programming with Python (April)

This is a monthly workshop on Python, happening every third Tuesday of the month. Participation to previous events is not required.

Python is this thing called a programming language. It takes text that you’ve written (usually referred to as code), turns it into instructions for your computer, and runs those instructions. We’ll be learning how to write code to do cool and useful stuff. No longer will you be bound to use others’ programs to do things with your computer!

This workshop will offer complete beginners the opportunity to learn Python using the Introduction to Programming with Python [1] class from OpenTechSchool, and people with some some programming knowledge the opportunity to learn Python by building web applications through the easy Websites with Python Flask [2] class. Thanks Roman. Fantastic evening. And thanks to those dudes with the cool hairstyles who brought the Mate and the Grimbergen. Educational and relaxed atmosphere. See you at the next one.

Good atmosphere to work independently. Being able to ask questions when you don't understand something really speeds up the learning process.

Due to academic holidays, booking the room for the workshop took more time than usual. The workshop will take place in K.4.401, one floor above the previous workshop.
