Hello everybody

I would like to know if people are interested by a Java and Android workshop.

Java is a widely used programming language. It's used to build mobile phone applications - Android -, dynamic websites and others.

(Friedger already proposed building Android apps using simple tools, maybe he has some ideas to share)

What could be covered in these workshops (nothing definitive yet):
   - basics of programming (if no prior knowlege)
   - variables
   - if, for, while, ...
   - classes, interfaces, methods (OOP)
   - reading/writing to file
   - using Eclipse IDE
   - ...
   - basics: the Android framework
   - sound, controls, ...
   - creating a graphical user interface (GUI)
   - using OpenGL (for advanced graphics, video games, ...)

I still need to make the presentation appealing (advice welcome), and would be available for coaching.

If you're interested, please respond to that email.
The workshop can be organised if enough people show interest.
