Suggest new event

We had the first drupal workshop today. I am currently writing a wrap up about the event.
About 20 people showed up, and I got the general idea that it was OK.

Now, I want to add the next week workshop to meetup, but don't see the option anymore to suggest a new event? Has this been disabled or something?
If so, could I get the right to add events, so I don't need to contact someone every week for the same problem.

I personally would not limit all those things. It is a open tech school. Otherwise you create the hierarchy you are trying to avoid.
Everyone is a student, everyone is a coach, etc. Also, if you leave this as a privilege, you create the 'us and them' mentality...
