We're back again with our third General Learners' Meet, greater and more tech-learn-y than ever before!
Have you just started out with tech? Are you learning programming, tinkering with your computer, or just curious about the field and wondering where and how to get started with your interests? Do you want to chat with others to help you work out a problem? This meetup is for you! DETAILS
OpenTechSchool will be running our fortnightly Learners' Meetup on Thursday, 19th June, kindly hosted by ThoughtWorks Melbourne. Feel free to drop in at any stage from 6pm until 9pm with questions. Drinks will be provided to all. We will be ordering pizza, so if you’d like to join in on the food we’d ask for a $10 donation on the night to cover the cost.
As with all other OTS events, this meetup is free and open to everybody from beginners onwards. It is not specific to any programming language or operating system - we'll tackle anything!
Please bring along a laptop if you want to roll up your sleeves and get into some work, although if you'd prefer to chat and bounce around ideas, a laptop is certainly not required. There will be scope for both things during this meetup.
We are also looking for coaches who will be available to come along on the night to provide advice to our other attendees. You don't need to know all the answers: it's more than enough to know where to start looking for them.
We look forward to seeing you there!
