Monthly Meetup

As usual, this meeting will be an open lab time where we will work on projects. Come with ideas for projects, things you may have already started, or we'll try to match you up with an already existing project or idea.

We'd like to give a Big Thank You to David Radcliffe for filling in as host for this meetup.

Please comment below any ideas or projects you might want to work on.

Hey everyone thanks for a fun meetup tonight. What a great place to share ideas and hack. Does anyone have the name, email, or twitter handle of someone at OMGTransit? I'd love to connect with them soon.

The Northside Digital Innovation Alliance, aka NDIA ( has a project proposal that I will share with the group today. Basically, they are looking to build a website that gives north Minneapolis folks a view of Digital Assets in that area (computer labs, classes, events).

Hey guys, I RSVP'd last month, but ended up not making it cuz it was my wedding anniversary (I thought it was a good call). But I will be there tonight! Just a heads up: I was hoping to kick around an open source REST API project I'm working with some folks in and out of Target and Metro Transit called RadBus. Here's the main doc site: I can maybe explain more when we meet.

Hi Peter, have you reached out to the guys?

Not directly yet. From a backend perspective, their app is probably the closest thing to RadBus that I know of, at least locally. If folks at this meetup know them, I'd love to get properly introduced. I'd also like to get feedback from anyone else who's played in the transit data space. RadBus is meant to be a Twin Cities-focused open source project, leveraging local talent to build an API platform that would be useful to apps like OMG.
