La Mirada Symphony - FREE Concert 3 of 4

The La Mirada Symphony presents four concerts every year with no admission charge. There are no tickets, and all seating is open. Parking is free in the adjacent shopping center lot.

IMHO, they do a very good job. A program of comparable quality could easily cost $100 or more at the L.A. Philharmonic or Pacific Symphony. Here are the details of this evening's program:

La Mirada Symphony - Concert #3

This event is cross-posted with three other Meetups, and those who are interested will be meeting for dinner before the concert at the restaurant listed below. I won't be making reservations, so seating will be first-come, first-served.

Did you think so, too? I did, but wasn't familiar enough with the work to be entirely sure.

It was a great evening! Thanks. Met a lot of nice people and hope to meet up with them again. Wasn't Teresa de Jong, pianist, amazing?

I'm fairly certain that I did RSVP for this. But cannot figure out how to confirm that. Does everyone sit together? Or do we get individual seats and just meet during intermission. This will be my first meet-up and I'm a bit lost.

      1. At the top of this page it will say "Your RSVP: Yes" if you did, but RSVPs don't matter for this particular event. 2. No, there isn't room for everyone to sit together. 3. Yes, but, if you meet someone earlier, either at the restaurant or at the lobby fireplace, you can mutually agree to sit together if you wish.

We usually meet for dinner at Panini Bread at 6:00pm. If not, there other groups that also meet there around that time.

Panini...hahah I am not sure if I'll make dinner. I'll be at a wedding earlier in the day...but with that at least I'll already be dressed for the symphony! haha
