Raul http://meetup.com/Orange-County... 's attendance & review of this event
On Sunday he stopped by our booth 81.
    *I told him of "2013.02.26Tue1830-2130, http://meetu.ps/q88FH :
Google App Engine including with AngularJS," and, wanting to attend, he joined the group "Sun, Feb 24, 2013 at 3:45 PM".
**I recall then per his request, I then RSVPed him YES to that event.
*Since he attended SCaLE but was not on our RSVPs, I now mark him as attended.

Just in our booth at 2:30pm is Melina http://meetup.com/Orange-County... of SoCal Python of Meetup and just joined our group (yeah!) and in fact says Python groups are better than eharmony! As you might not be surprised, Melina also does comedy and would like to do a ~5min comedic presentation on her experiences with the snakes of Python. Not sure yet which of our meetings. Will reply to this post as was done here in my comment http://meetup.com/Orange-County... .

    • DestinyArchitect

Upon our booth hearing Melina's idea, OCAndroid leader Lucy http://meetup.com/OCA... says that's a wonderful idea & she, Lucy, can get an a writeup or reporter on this from the local newspapers if presenter agrees, & she does!

Visting in our booth at 1:45pm~: Steven Citron-Pousty http://meetup.com/members/66703... (he also gave me his card). He introduces himself to us as an evangelist of http://OpenShift.com , a development platform competitive to GAE which includes an open-source & proprietary so does presentations at users groups, including flying out to do them, & would present to ours. He would like to do a workshop of a few hours. I agreed to 2hrs leaving 1hr for other discussion. I said if I could get a date sei-committed we could advertise this presentation here at our SCALE booth. And said that moving the date & time would be hard. He found that most of our Tuesdays he's busy with Passover or especially his kids, but said he could probably make our mtg 2013.07.30Tue1830-2130 http://meetup.com/Orange-County... . I agreed & said we'd announce.

While there is a lot of unavoidable detail, you just have to follow the instructions. Indeed these instructions are quite doable. On our other listing in OCAndroid, we had everyone needing to do t (5 of 5 of them) do these instructions with 0 phone calls, 0 emails, and about only 1 Q from 1 person, of "how to do this" because all the answers are already written. For example, this guy tonight http://www.meetup.com... (read that his attendance thread - that was all the interaction I had with him to do this).

Taylor, in reply to this & more, I posted new thread http://meetup.com/Ora... . Please reply-post to that thread as it's key that you're aware of this as a member (of us and potentially most any Meetup group).

Taylor http://meetup.com/members/57028... ,apparently since u realized u confused us w/another python group, u unexpectedly changed ur RSVP from YES to NO and deleted all of ur posts on the matter; and since I replied to u, u deleted my posts,2.
*No, absolutely DON'T do any of of this.
**Don't delete anyone's posts, even urs, w/o say admin approval (or say no one possibly saw them). This is violation of our due process rule http://1.JotHere.com/3975#MHGM3... - please read. I wd post this in reply to ur http://meetup.com/Orange-County... but no one can risk another unexpected deletion of their posts as u did. I've never had 2ban anyone in this group, but do unapproved deletion or alteration of posts again &I shall. Fortunately I happened 2hv some of what u deleted in another Window&will try restore.
**Also since u're our member&ur attending,I'm restoring ur RSVP to YES, as that doesn't say nor mean u're helping our booth.

3 comments restored from a Window I had open. Note time stamps are probably at least ~1hr behind. Additional posts followed which I will attempt to restore later. Quote:

I will be attending Friday, Saturday and Sunday, all day. I've already scheduled the times I'll be working in the booth around the talks that I want to attend. I can help out more if needed throughout the day(s) though.

Actually, there is a possibility I may be late coming in on Friday (tomorrow / car trouble -_-) but I'll definitely be on time Saturday and Sunday.

Great details, Taylor! Thanks! I was about to work out a shift but you write "I've already scheduled the times I'll be working in the booth..". Who did u schedule them with? And (important) What times ranges exactly? Is there something (as a spreadsheet or calendar) showing me ur schedule which you can post here the URL? Are you already registered? -How?

Dear RSVP YESes (3 so far), we're running out of time here - I need ur quick & full followup to my last cmt (2 days ago): in response to this, I do see Taylor liking this my last cmt and I do see (via the private RSVP Qs) he providing his email, cell #, & zip, and (new) Shawn http://meetup.com/Ora... providing providing just his email (and Brian, where's urs), but that's it. What about the remaining info & steps of that link I gave u http://1.jothere.com/... ? --we need that done. Most notably the next step http://1.JotHere.com/... : I need each of you to create a top-level event-comment here saying something off-hand about your attendance, as which days roughly you'll be attending and if you'll be doing the booth -read & do that next step most urgently (plus, Brian notably, we need at least ur email address else the steps can't be completed.) I'm going
