Conserve and Conquer - Limited Paint games at SC Village.

Magfed/limited paint and grenade games!

You walk on with one hopper and maybe a grenade and/or
guys with mag fed guns would be welcome, and allowed to bring the same equivalent number of mags. Pump guys, same.

There are a few pricing options here so read carefully. 0ption #1 Price is $35.00 per person for entry/all day air/rental equipment (Gun Rental, Mask Rental, Belt Pouch) via ticketing and paypal from this site. Option #2 - If you are "self equipped" (meaning you have your own mask and gun) then the price is $28.00 for entry and all day air. Option - #3 If you are using 12 gram CO2 cartridges or otherwise don't need all day air then you only pay the group entry rate of $20 for entry. Option - #4 There are also military discounts of $25 for entry/air/rental mask/rental marker/tank/and 200 rounds with military ID (you will have to show your ID at the event to get this rate so bring your ID the day of if you want this). Since this site only allows me to list one ticket price...I am posting the full price of $35...please pay this amount and in the notes to seller section list the option # or #s from this list above and I will refund the difference back to you (In other words, you pay $35 but your a self equipped player so you add a note to seller of option #2 for self equipped and will refund back $7 to you). You can message me through this site (Brian Krinsky) if you need assistance.

Your payments are going to Giant Sportz to lock in our group rate and pay to secure refs and the number of rental equipment that we will need (if any). Personally, I have laid out for the required deposit ($100). I have also paid for trophies and paint grenades which are my gifts to the group and event. We also have a professional paid photographer coming which some of us have donated towards having at our event for some great action shots which will be made available to the group at no charge.

I am not charging anything over and above what Giant Sportz is charging for this event (in other words...this is not a money making event for me but rather is part of my goal of this group and the LA group and Retread Paintball to get more people out to play and enjoy our sport! Therefore, there are no refunds.

Some of our members have also donated their time and expertise in creating our graphics and flyers and distributing them to local fields and stores as well as answering your questions and posts and for that we owe them all a big THANK YOU in working to make this a well attended, fun, and successful event!

We will probably play on the backfields that aren't used as much.

This will be a private event with our own ref(s), paid photographer, and many personal helmet-cam videos. We are also looking to be able to offer Paint Grenades to those that sign up.

Can I please carpool with someone to SC? I will chip in for gas. I'll keep your car clean and have a 2nd change of clothes.

I live in Santa Ana, 10 minutes South of Disneyland. I'm willing to meet up on time at any convenient parking location near the 5, 22, 55, 57, or 91 freeway. Call me[masked] . Thanks.

This would be great! My calendar is open for that day. I only own semi auto's but think it would be a lot of fun being limited on paint. Cheaper also. Keep us posted.

How long do you guys plan on being out on the field? The whole day, half day?

    February 4, 2013

    • Roberto

The times i've organzed groups we start at 9am and end around 3 pm. For some reason I understood on a previous post that you guys were only going to play a few games. I wan to go to this event and the one on the 24th at Hollywood Sports but not sure yet if I can make it to both, family commitments. I will know for sure in a couple of days.

I've been lurking for information from the Mcarterbrown forum for a long time now. Brian, you know I only have electric loader (1st gen Prophecy) for my Etek 2. Can I load it with exactly 200 rounds and play hopper-ball for 4 games?

    February 4, 2013

      Absolutely.

Hey guys! So I have a question. I'm looking to attend this meetup but wasn't sure how exactly to RSVP. We've been following this thread on another paintball forum(Tippman.. something or another?) but wasn't sure if there was anything else I needed to do!? This will be my first meetup with this group so also introducing myself prior is good.

Yes...essentially many folks are bringing a pod with their name on it (I can bring a label maker for folks to use) and they can load 50 rds between matches that run back to back.

This sounds like fun.. make every shot count. I would be interested if we can get enough people. Don't have mag fed marker, but have a pistol with a few mags.

    January 22, 2013

    • Brian K

We definitely have a few guys that like to play with pistols. I have a new mag fed Spyder Hammer...they are relatively cheap ($125) and fun to shoot. We would either need a place where we can hold our own game or enough people to get a private game together at a regular field.

      January 22, 2013

    • Brian K

Also...you don't HAVE to have a mag fed but you are limited to 50 rds a game regardless of what marker you use.

WOW...so far the response has been amazing. The guys from the B.O.M.A.G.S group REALLY liked the idea as well. Mark...you really hit on some pent up demand I think! I communicated with CC Paintball in Corona today also to see if a) they can help us get the best rate possible with Giant Sportz and b) if they wanted to come and make it a store day for them also. I talked to Lori a few weeks ago and they had said they wanted to start doing store days again. I also talked to Sonny (who started our LA Meetup Group and is the founder of the LA Hitmen and also has a HUGELY impressive Magfed gun with Carmatech which he is involved with). More details to come but the more I talk to people the more excitement there seems to be about this!

Awesome. I can't wait. I was hoping there were more people like me interested in playing games tat rely on tactics and skill. Instead if how fast you can walk a trigger.

Ok guys. Everybody who is interested should let me know on mcarterbrown, so we can start t get a proper count.

Hopper-ball is an excellent format. Old school Pan Am limited paint tournaments nostalgia... I'm a big Maybe for now because of the long drive to SC.

It's looking good. I've got guys at mcarterbrown.com invested as well. So far looking like at least 15 people. If we can get over 20 we can do a private game at Sc village. I am looking at Feb 17th or 24th

    January 22, 2013

    • Brian K

Nice! I know Sundays work better for some folks. Feb 17th might be best for me as I think we are in the stages of planning another event at HSP the last weekend of February. If you want we can look at whether Lori at CC Paintball can get us a better rate as well...she offered the last time I spoke to her and she was interested in doing a store day though this event may not be exactly what they would want to do for an official store day. In any case...if you can get folks from mcarterbrown to sign up for our group we can get a count and start to negotiate with SC on Pricing (maybe you have a hookup as well...I don't know). I'm excited about it though. What did you guys think about doing it with paint grenades also? I might be able to provide a free paint grenade for everyone that signs up! ;-)

      January 22, 2013

    • mark h.

I don't have a hookup. So this sounds like a plan.

      January 22, 2013

  • Brian K

I think whatever gets people out to play...were you thinking more like for a scenario style game or just for some more old school type play where every shot counts vs spray and pray? lol Either way I think it could be fun and maybe another wrinkle would be limited ammo and paint grenades? ;-)

    January 18, 2013

    • mark h.

I'm thinking mini scenarios. Games with an objective. And limited ammo. I'm kinda bored with the pray and stay walk-on games.
