This group is for anyone who is interested in the GAPS nutritional protocol. Members will receive education and support from two certified GAPS practitioners and other members who are living the GAPS lifestyle.
GAPS is an acronym for Gut And Psychology/Physiology Syndrome and was coined by Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride. She holds a Degree in Medicine and Postgraduate Degrees in both Neurology and Human Nutrition. In 1998 Dr. Campbell-McBride set up The Cambridge Nutrition Clinic where she specializes in nutrition for children and adults with behavioral and learning disabilities, and adults with digestive and immune system disorders.
GAP Syndrome consists of seemingly unrelated conditions including autism, ADHD/ADD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, schizophrenia, depression, eating disorders, bipolar disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, autoimmune disorders, asthma, eczema and more. The common link is digestive abnormalities which can be corrected with the proper nutritional protocol.
This group will be a healing community that meets regularly to receive GAPS lessons, share GAPS-friendly dishes or recipes and provide support for those anticipating or already living the GAPS lifestyle.
The GAPS Support Group will be facilitated by:
Pamela Middleton, M.D. Holistic Pediatrician and Certified GAPS Practitioner
Sima Ash, CHom Homeopath and Certified GAPS Practitioner
