Object-Oriented Programming Part IV, Share Our Stuff Planning, & Thoughts on Leadership

OC Flash Interactive - Tuesday, May 7th

Thank you to all that attended our April meeting. Taco Tuesdays rule!

Our annual theme for OC Flash Interactive is "BYOB with OCFI in 2013". We will be presenting topics and speakers that support the theme of "Building Your Own Business". Agenda items will include topics that build technical and professional skills of our community.

Our May agenda will cover:

  • Jeff Gomes will cover part 4 of his object-oriented programming primer series, which he created in response to a request during our 2013 planning discussion.
  • Caprice de Lorm will lead a discussion about leadership. This will include thoughts on how to be an authentic and effective personal and professional. She will reference an article she wrote entitled "Lessons on Leadership from the Livestock", which can be viewed at http://delormdesigns.com/CAREER_NETWORK_de_Lorm_Article.pdf.
  • We will plan our "Share our Stuff" meeting in June, which is also raffle time!
  • We will also continue with our tradition of sharing announcements and opening up the meeting to member sharing of tips and tricks, job opportunities, and requests for group assistance.

We will meet at roundpeg starting at 6:30 pm. Please come to the meeting prepared to sign up for our "Share Our Stuff" time.

Please contact Jeff Gomes if you are willing to help with food.

We look forward to seeing YOU on May 7th!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
