Thank you for coming up with alternate plans for the meeting "on the fly" when the main presenter did not show. Shows the creativity and can do attitude of the leadership, and it was nice to see some of the work of other members and have time to network. Thank you for the pizza alternative - keep up the good work! ;-)

My apologies to all who attended that our presenter, Greg Rostami, could not make our meeting. Unfortunately, sometimes things happen that are totally out of our control. However, as always, our group rallied and rose to the challenge, making the most of a chance to share information, network, show off some of their work, and enjoy great food organized by Joanne. Travis wowed us with his Member Showcase, demonstrating his awesome VO talent! Mike shared some tips from his wedding videography portfolio, and Terry entertained us with some AfterEffects magic.

16 attended. Sushi & salad was a hit. I enjoyed Travis' narration showcase and Mike's interview tips. I even showed my magical "Terry Twins" After Effects impossibility. I do hope Greg recovers from the brain injury.

The Member Showcase by Travis was excellent. There were a multitude of examples of his excellent VO work and an underlying marketing message...obtain good domain names and use them! Travis' LA Philharmonic example was as good as it gets.

Main speaker didn't show. Last-second presentations was mostly material I've seen before. Left early. Great sushi and salad, although the drink selection could be better.
