NOCCCD School of Continuing Education, Room AN 132
We are starting our 2nd year at a new location. The North Orange County Community College District, School of Continuing Education has opened the doors of their beautiful facilities to us. Parking permits will not be required for this first meeting.
Main Presentation: Guerrilla Marketing
Mike McGready says he had an entire presentation prepared on Gorillla Marketing before he learned that was only relevent to zoos. Now he is prepared to talk about ways the little guy can promote his/her business in a cost-effective manner (with the emphasis on "effective"). Guerrilla Marketing existed long before the internet and social networks. How do those tools fit in? What has worked for you? What hasn't? Mike's presentation will lead into a group discussion where the inspiration you've been waiting for may pay you a visit.
Group Learning Project Update
Mike McGready and Damion Donaldson will give an update on the OCMMA group video project.
Each month we will take a few minutes to discuss recent technical breakthroughs and announcements related to web and mobile device video.

We give away an Adobe Software Bundle twice a year (winner's choice: $2,100 one-item limit)! You earn points (tickets) at each meeting toward the raffles held during our April and October meetings. Web developers/designers or video/audio producers will find our topics invaluable and stimulating.
The Web Video Crossroads meets on the second Thursday of every month. and the fee for Orange County MultiMedia Association non-members is $10, or $5 for students (NOCCCD School of Continuing Education students are admitted free).
