Web – Video Crossroads: 06-12-2014

Adobe Software Raffle Tonight!

Featured Presentation: Photoshop for Video Editors! Part 1 of a 3-Part Series

Photoshop is more than a software. It is so dominant in digital arts it has become a verb! A typical question posed about a compelling image is, "has it been photoshopped?" A better questions is, "what striking photo hasn't been enhanced by Photoshop?" Photographers, web designers and video editors rely on Photoshop to make their creations pop and sizzle!  In this series, Mike McGready and Ivan Taylor will share how they, and video editors in general, use Photoshop in their creative process. Some of it is fundamental and some will inspire!

Please download and print a PARKING PERMIT.  You must hang the permit from your mirror after parking in the NOCCCD SCE lot. It may not be used for the upper parking lot.

The focus of the Web – Video Crossroads (Adobe User Group) is to inspire and instruct our members to take advantage of opportunities involving Web and mobile-device video and the underlying technology. The group's managers, Mike McGready, Owner and Creative Director of Album of Life video studios, and Ivan Taylor, an instructor and consultant on multimedia in education, aim to develop meeting programs that inspire, educate and support those with similar interests. Web developers/designers or video/audio producers will find our topics invaluable and stimulating.

The Web Video Crossroads meets on the second Thursday of every month. and the fee for Orange County MultiMedia Association non-members is $10, or $5 for students (School of Continuing Education students are admitted free).

Thank you to all who attended in person or via Connect. It was a busy day for those dealing with graduations and other end-of-the-schoolyear functions so your participation is most appreciated.
