We still have 4 spots available for our upcoming Ansel Adams Wilderness Backpack. Hike through breathtaking scenery, alpine meadows, and glacier lakes. We will be camping at Clark Lakes with day hikes planned to summit Carson Peak and visit Thousand Island Lakes and Garnet Lake. I: 20s30s40s Ansel Adams Wilderness Backpack: Revel in the breathtaking vistas, alpine meadows, and back-country glacier lakes of the Sierra Nevada. High-altitude strenuous multi-day backpack starts at the Rush Creek TH (7280') climbing 6 miles through Spooky Meadow (10000') to camp 3 nights at Clark Lakes (9800'). Summit Carson Peak (10909') and enjoy hikes to Garnet Lake (9678') and Thousand Island Lakes (9833'). Participants must have hiked with one of the leaders AND have previous high altitude backpacking experience. RSVP to leader for approval then pay $10 for permit.
