I'm still feeling the high from our wonderful trip-feeling rejuvenated, inspired, and ambitious to do more. Thank you Ecuador for your wonderful vistas, warm and generous people, and cherished memories.

Just returned yesterday, took two days to get home beginning at 4:30am, 1/2 hour paddle canoe ride to a dock, jungle hike to another dock, board motor long boat for 2 1/2 hours on the Rio Napo to Coca,
short bus ride to the tiny airport, 35 minute AeroGal flight to Quito, bus pick up at airport, 1 hour ride to San Jorge hacienda, empty our muddy, stinky, wet duffles try to dry stuff out and repack, get up at 1:30am for another 1 hour ride to the Quito airport, long flight home through El Salvador arrived home around 2 pm yesterday. Thought sure I heard it raining this morning thought I was still in the Amazon Jungle. Next trip is Iceland in August. From the Equator to the Arctic circle, how different can you get?
