OCSCB is going to visit the Cabrillo Aquarium- come see native marine life!
OCSCB is visiting the Cabrillo Aquarium in San Pedro. The Cabrillo Aquarium is a leader in marine science education, aquaculture research and community recreation. Come learn about the exciting research and marine life of Southern California. We will be able to talk to a member of the research staff and tour the facilities. The discussion will be leveled for adults, however this will be a great activity kids as well!
In addition to learning about local marine life, this is a great opportunity to socialize with the OCSCB board and other conservation oriented individuals.
Please RSVP to [masked]. The cost is $5 for adults and $1 for children. We are planning on carpooling. Let us know how many people will be in your party, phone number, and if you can drive. We'll be meeting at the park and ride on University Dr and the 73 freeway (the park and ride is actually physically under the 73 freeway off of University Dr) in Irvine on August 25th at 8:45am and plan to leave by 9am. We are planning to be at the Aquarium before 10am. We will talk with a member of the research staff for about a half hour and then explore the Aquarium for about an hour. We will be back around 1pm.
