Adam Tuliper, Technical Evangelist with Microsoft will do this session on uGUI.

Finally, it is coming! Everyone has felt some pains with the existing GUI system in Unity. It was a system that was designed quite some time ago and things have changed a lot with our design process since then. There’s been several iterations on creating a new GUI system, and Unity has finally announced uGUI is coming in version 4.6 this summer. Come learn about what Unity’s new GUI system is all about. We’ll be covering such items as:

·  Overview

·  Coding

·  Controls

·  Integrating with Animations

·  Performance

·  Where does this leave NGUI?

Good straight-thru presentation of nGUI. Nice job of on-the-fly troubleshooting and getting instance members to work -- impressive.

    Adam rocks!
Also, I am looking to start a small co-working space (FREE) For anyone that is interested. Nothing fancy, but if you'd be interested in not working only from home and would like some other people around. Please send me an email.

Do we need to bring our own laptops for this? I'm not sure if we're doing any exercises for this. Thanks.

Is the map link wrong? Clicking it or looking at it on the ticket shows (I'm guessing) the wrong location. But typing it directly into Google shows the correct location: Newport Beach Marriott Bayview. Off Jamboree and Bayview Way between the 73 and Back Bay.

Can someone please confirm the location, as I am coming from quite a bit outside of the area, and would hate to make the drive for nothing.... the google map location doesn't load right.

The location listed above is indeed correct, just make sure its the correct tower.
