Please join us on Saturday, June 14, 2014, 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Orange Coast Unitarian Universalist Church, Suite 4, 2845 Mesa Verde East, Costa Mesa, CA 92626.
Come experience and learn about kirtan as a universally recommended practice in all spiritual teachings throughout the world. Special guest speaker will be Srimati Katyayani Devi dasi who has studied, practiced and taught the non-sectarian and non-denominational science of yoga for over 45 years. Question and answer time will follow.
Come and engage in the spiritual practice of kirtan, a non-denominational practice, that has been passed down since time immemorial and a constant in all paths and religions. Getting together as a group is a fun way to do this! It is a great activity for families and communities at large. We can sing mantras using all kinds of instruments and genres of music. Oftentimes, people will get up and move to the beautiful transcendental sounds or groove to a rock out kirtan. There are no hard and fast rules to singing Holy Names!
Award winning recipients of the Los Angeles Music Awards, Spirit Soul And Friends-A Musical Peace Troupe invites you to come share their goal of utilizing music, peaceful mantras, yoga and dance to help create a more peaceful society. Their main goal is to give a gift of peace that you can take with you. You will be hearing and singing beautiful mantras and transcendental sounds that create peace and harmony by their spiritual potency wherever you go!
The campus is at the corner of Adams Avenue and Mesa Verde Drive, East sharing Adams Avenue and Mesa Verde Drive East driveways with visible businesses such as Torelli Realty and Piecemakers Country Store. Look for the brown buildings in the rear corner of the center, labeled 2845. You’ll find marked handicap parking stalls on the North side of the campus. Parking is free.
