3 for $29 June Dining Month at Gracie's

Portland June Dining Month is right around the corner and I thought it would be fun to do an intimate group dinner to take advantage of this!  Please read FULL details!

Gracie's is one of the most underrated restaurants in Portland!  I have dined there several times and have had fabulous food and service every time.  Gracie's is one of the few restaurants participating in June dining month that offers many options for each course.  Please take a look at this website to see what they have on offer:

Meet at 6-6:30 at the bar, Driftwood Room, to have a happy hour glass of wine or two before dinner.  Happy hour ends at 6:30 so regular priced drinks if you are late.  If the bar is crowded we will hang out in the lobby of the Hotel de Lux.  If you want to bring a bottle of wine, the corkage fee is $15 and my guess is they will charge gratuity on top of that.

No separate check so it will be cash only, payable to me and it will be an automatic 20% gratuity.  If you only have dinner, you will owe me $34.80, additional if you order drinks.  The server will be able to provide a print out of what you owe but not separate bills for each person.

There is only room for 14 people so due to the small size please do not sign up if you are just a maybe.  If you sign up and need to cancel, please do so at least 72 hours in advance to allow someone else to fill your spot.  I know the no-show repeat offenders so if you happen to sign up for this and it fills up, I will remove you from the list of attendees.  Don't worry, only a few people are habitual offenders and they should know who they are.

WAITING LIST - I am setting this up as a manual waiting list, which means if a spot opens up, the first person to respond will fill the spot.  Too often I have done this as an automatic and moved up the next person in line and they have made other plans and don't show up.  This offers better assurance that if I tell the restaurant to expect 14 people, 14 will actually show up!

It was a good value I felt in the end, especially with the happy hour in there! It was great to talk to the women at the table, everyone was very friendly and nice. :) Thank you Tamara for organizing this. :)

The restaurant was upscale and my food was very good, especially the chocolate dessert. It was good to buy the wine at happy hour; it was much less expensive. Thank you, Tamara, for hosting this nice event.

Too bad you cancelled so late. Doubt anyone can go on such short notice. :-(

Hi Carl, if you have a question for me, the organizer, it is best to send me an email rather than just posting a comment as I don't keep a close eye on the comment thread. Right now we are full. The largest table they have seats 14 people. My bet is that someone will cancel so please keep an eye on your email to see if there is a cancellation. Thanks! Tamara
